So apparently I am losing weight regularly -- if this week at my sister's is an indication -- dropping from 186.8 to 185.5. I won't be weighing in for some weeks to come, but if I were to lose a pound a week going forward I would be very satisfied. That means I'd hit my goal weight about one year from now, and I think going that slowly is a good thing for me because it will help reinforce the notion that this is a permanent change. Hope this turns out to be truth and not pipe dream!
