I see that the scale gods were smiling on you today too, eh Mona!👍 Nice drop! Getting out and playing in the gardens must have really shocked our bodies!! LoL  

Mona, I've never had the turkey bacon taste like cardboard. Mind you, I do use a tsp. of real bacon grease in the pan, heat is on very low and cook bacon maybe 5 - 7 min. each side. It really does need that touch of fat in the pan tho. (my son cooks bacon every day, so I started saving the drippings in the fridge...it has 4 calories more than Becel but much more flavour!) 😉

Hey Nadia, that’s a good idea as I have lots of bacon grease in my fridge. I never throw it out…it makes the absolute best french toast….🙄…Of course, in my past life!!!! Lol I will definitely use it next time I cook it. I think there are just some things you can’t substitute, bacon being one!
