WisteriaSky233's Journal, 26 Apr 24

Hubs came over last night to get a few things. I attempted to be cordial and caring but he was sad and angry. Then ultimately said that the only thing I could say to make a difference is that I am sorry and was wrong to separate. Then later he started badgering me via texts. I finally stopped responding. I told him twice that I didn't want to argue.

All of his behavior and comments should give you reason why your decision was the best one you could have had and your best option. I hope you have a relaxing weekend.

@Sternfan He is wanting to make nice and meet me to talk. I don't think he can say anything to mend it. He was saying he realized he was wrong.

His controlling nature showing itself again.

Yes seems he is grasping at straws at this point but too little too late, no?

Agree with rhontique. He's just showing his disrespect and desire to control. A healthy separation would n be one in which he gave you space for self-care. Look up "cortisol" sometime. There is a documented physical correlation between stress and your body's resistance to weight loss - even weight gain.
