That's what I'm debating myself about, Glamper. I was originally thinking white shabby chic style, but now I'm thinking maybe pine green and leave the maple back rests and seats. They are presently two tone toned. Decisions, decisions. You have a great day too, Glamper.

Yes, Yes! Love good old wooden furniture! In our garage hangs the skeleton of an 1800's quarter-sawn golden oak chaise that 'someday' I will finish restoring. When I deconstructed it in the 70s. I found three antique crazy quilts inside that someone had used previously to reupholster it, along with the original horsehair padding. Have fun doing your chairs and ouuu, "art room"...blessed you!

Oh Gopher that's quite a find! The chaise and the quilts! Were they still in decent condition? I love love old things but I have kind of slacked off over the years. But I'm tempted every time I see an interesting piece at a bargain price! (My daughter keeps me in check 😁) Yes, have a spare bedroom that I've been slowly making over into a dedicated art/work room. I have a small sewing area but this space will hold all the supplies plus a large table for working on. You should finish your chaise. I think it's time has come 🥰☺️

It is overcast, a little cool but not warm or cold, good weather for my fuzzy, comfy jacket and sweatshirt with someone else’s college logo on it, and will be hot in the afternoons in a few days.
I am not a furniture person except for comfy chairs, but gosh I love comfy chairs. I’ve never painted furniture myself, but I do love art.

Sounds exactly how it is here today Laine. I'm in my cozy hooded sweater. And a Red Sox tee 🤗 It has been bouncing between high 80s and low 5Os for daytime highs this spring. Never know how to dress. As far as furniture, I've only done a few things over the years.
