It is a gorgeous day in middle Tennessee. The sun was bright all day long, and the temperatures were just the right amount to be warm without being hot. It was a day to ride 21 miles on the bike, spread some weed & feed fertilizer, and watch a little of the Masters Golf Tournament. My wife helped keep both of us eating healthy, and my calories were at 1399 for the day. I am satisfied and not hungry. Sometimes we say,..."I am not satisfied. I could eat another plate". We've also written our own proverb that says,..."Sometimes we need to be satisfied with not being satisfied". With the calories being below 1500, I may find me a little snack later on. Everyone continue to have a wonderful weekend. Good is good.

Hot here and I don't like it. Totally agree with what you had to say. Being hungry is not a disaster unless your are diabetic and/or your blood sugar is low.

Today, three days after this post, I am glad I am back on FS after four days off from it. I am grateful for books, and after I read Gathering Blue, a book on my wish list is Remarkably Bright Creatures. I am so grateful for this post. I have still been struggling with food…not giving up though! Extra vegetables definitely help mitigate the struggle, even though mitigating it is no longer enough at this point, and I have to do well consistently now, and start losing slowly instead of mitigating damage 😂. I switched up my favorite go-to vegetables from salad greens and cherry tomatoes, to mini bell peppers and carrots, because changing up what you eat is a way to have fun with food, and helps with the need to satisfy some sort of dopamine rush with food. Not enough to do that if I am still struggling, so I’ll pick up the pace with my progress!
