Happy “Transformation Tuesday”. It would seem that we have both leaned out a little bit in the time between these two photos. Unfortunately, for the last two evenings, I haven’t made very good decisions. After avoiding all of the party snacks over the weekend, I found myself mindlessly munching on a giant bag of kettle corn from Costco while watching a movie. Then, when putting my lunch together for the next work day, some peanut butter made its way into my belly. Peanut Butter>goals doesn’t make much sense. But that is the choice I made. This is a familiar pattern. Working on a goal, making decent progress, then I self sabotage…I am disappointed in myself. But disappointed won’t get me any further ahead. So I need to smarten up, kick my ass back into gear, and prioritize what is important, and be smarter going forward…again. 🤦‍♂️

You look great. Don't worry about a spoonful of peanut butter every now and again. I do it too. Just move on and don't be too hard on yourself.

You've made great progress. One little setback won't stop you from reaching your goals.

That disappointment can really keep us stuck eh!? All too familiar pattern in my life as well…not just with eating habits either. Positive thoughts your way as you work to get yourself back on track. (PS the baby pic is adorable!)

You’re doing great job. Overall factors are much more important than just diet spoiling. You are doing great work

Nice work buddy 👏 👍 just move on from the past few days it's a a very small hiccup. The roads not a straight path to the goal line. If it makes you feel better work took me out for lunch today and I had 6 jumbo coconut shrimp , a massive fish and chips platter and a few wings 😱 I'll be right back at it again tomorrow and I'll compensate a bit tonight as well. Your commitment has not gone unnoticed keep it up💪

Otb as for your ‘said lunch’, as long as you think like the youngsters do, if there’s no pic, it didn’t happen.🤣😂🤦‍♀️

Neicy haha I catch enough heat for being healthy all the time and not going with the guys for lunch everyday just imagine the heat I would have caught for taking food pics from a bunch of blue collar guys already out of place at a decent restaurant 😅 I might have never lived that one down.

Don't beat yourself up, look at the overall trend lines, you're doing great, nobody can be perfect all the time. And it looks like you're doing a great job as a parent.

Thanks for the support everyone. FYI, I’m not beating myself up too badly. The reason I posted this is that publicly sharing my poor decisions forces me to think about it, confront them, and try to do better going forward. If I just ignore or pretend that it never happened, I’m more likely to repeat the same behaviour more often. This way, since it’s here for all to see, I need to be more accountable…both for myself, and all y’all. 😎
