You'll find that FatSecret (if you're as complete as you can be) will give you a fairly accurate reading on your weight loss. As long as you can keep those nice green "down" arrows on your calendar, you'll do fine (even if it's only under 100 calories or something). There's a couple of challenges out there for consecutive "down" arrows if you need extra motivation. As Tony says: P90X is not for everyone. If you do it at your own pace and stay consistent with it, you'll start to feel stronger and more confident as time goes along. As a user of the program, I stand behind it, but I also caution that you, practically, have to be in-shape to do it. In short: It's not about pushing to do everything in the program. Instead, just "show up" (as Tony says) and do just that consistently. I found that working-out in the morning is the best. It's a struggle (at least for me) to get up extra early to break-off 1 to 1.5 hours for P90X, but it's quite the relief when you don't have to do it in the afternoon/evening when you should be relaxing, eating dinner, or spending time with the family.
