I am on day 3 with no sweets! I feel with a crackhead! It's crazy how addicted to sugar I am. I didn't eat a lot of sugary treats; but I HAD to have something sweet after dinner. Craaazy. I could slap a Girl Scout and steal her cookies!! 😂🤣😂😢

Thanks for the chuckle! That was funny about the Girl Scout Cookies!! How I transitioned from eating sweets is I make my own, healthier versions of my favorite treats. For example, instead of pumpkin pie, I make a 0% yogurt & pumpkin purée dessert. I use 100g 0% Fage yogurt, 61g pumpkin purée, 1-2 stevia packets, and pumpkin pie spice. Top with 14g pumpkin seeds. Quite delicious and it satisfies my sweet tooth!! ( I also make chocolate yogurt dessert)
OR instead a snickers candy bar, I make my chocolate coconut peanut dessert. I use 8g organic coconut unpressed oil, melt it a little in microwave, stir in 6g Ghirardelli’s Dutch processed unsweetened cocoa powder and 1 stevia pkt, I measure 14g peanuts (or walnuts, pistachios, or almonds). I get some wax paper, put peanuts down 1st, then poor on the melted chocolate/coconut oil. Place in freezer for 10-15 minutes…DIVINE to me but WAY less sugar and calories than a snickers candy bar. OR I eat 1 Medjool date stuffed w organic creamy PB. These tricks help satisfy my sweet tooth with out all the sugar.

Thanx for the great tips!! I bought some Swerve. Think that will work too?!? I figured I'd keep avoiding sweets till my bad mood goes away, then try reintroducing sweet flavors.
