Time to get back on track! not able to do all the walking that I want to do and I can't wear a lot of the footwear at the moment due to a bone issue in my foot. it is getting me very down and very depressed. I made a conscious decision that I start today now that the holidays are finally over to get myself back on track and to try other things. So I joined a yoga app for stretching and strengthening exercises, especially for my hip and I will be getting back on my treadmill and my bike. I hate being in the basement but I don't have a choice. I've gained 12 lb in the last couple of months and it's so disgusting in my mind. I can't even begin to describe how I feel. that being said, I need to stop beating myself up and get back on track. I truly look to all the people here who are trying very hard to obtain the same goals as myself if we support, encouragement. and yes even laughter! So with that said, I wish everyone a Happy New Year and let's get back to work!

Yes you’ve regained a little, but you’re still ahead of where you were before! And there’s no limit to how often you need to reset and refresh. Christmas is only 10% of the year, your best 90% of the year is ahead of you 👏🏻👏🏻

When you get discouraged with yourself, think of turning a page in a big book: mentally turn that old page over and start a brand new one. The old page is stained and wrinkled and torn. The new page is crisp and clean, and will be filled with positivity and determination and with what you've learned from feeling the way you did in the past.
