Good morning peeps! Hope everyone is off to a great start to a lovely day ahead. Had a bit of a kitchen plumbing leak here yesterday which put a damper on things til that was squared away. Thank God for sons who are skilled and willing to rescue their moms! (My son is the best, dont know what I'd do without him.) Today tho, it's a beautiful sunny day and I'm going shopping! Thanks Erin! Had a good day. Didnt overspend which is always nice!..Is it just here in my area, or has anyone else noticed a distinct lack of Christmas merchendise in stores this year? Anyway, Im so lucky to have him. He is a real blessing. Hope you have had a great day too! :)

Same way here the stores are ordering less because people are spending less. Inflation is killing everyone world wide this year. Same size turkey I got last year I hot again this year only it was 25 bucks more then last year

Truth. I was telling my daughter stores must be afraid of having all that holiday stock leftover to clearance out so ordered less. It's very dismal. Turkeys, everything has doubled or more in price. I dont know how much more people can do. Getting a little scary really.

Food prices I just heard on the news today are on the increase again for 2024 it's absolutely ridiculous 🙄 soon people are going to have to choose between rent or food and it's really sad.

It's going to get pretty rough for most folks I am afraid. Time to go back to the old ways of doing things, home cooked meals from scratch, gardens, barter even. A simple old fashioned Christmas is in order this year.
