I have “snugged up” my nutrition this week as things had been getting a little “loose” lately…particularly in terms of evening and weekend consumption.

So with that in mind, I locked up the snack cupboard (mentally, not physically…the kids still need in), and tightened up my choices for the past few days, and am getting back to basics. And although the number on the scale isn’t my number one metric, it is still nice to see it heading the right way.

Now the trick will be to keep consistent throughout the weekend, and mostly consistent down the holiday stretch! I can only refuse Christmas baking so many times before I cave 😉

As long as I can keep the next few weeks appropriate though, a few extra holiday treats throughout December should be more than acceptable and not be too detrimental to my progress and goals.

Eat something good, and don’t forget to stay hydrated, friends!
