I have a digital scale and sometimes I will weigh in and then wait until it goes off to weigh in again and it's almost always a different weight. or standing different does it too..

If it’s battery powered take the batteries out and put them back in. That usually does it for me

Thank you for announcing something that makes my house seem filthy on a public forum, dear. I figured there may just be dust but I didn't have time to wipe it. The initial weight is like 3 pounds heavier when you put it back on the floor so you have to weigh more than once initially. I can't possibly be fatter. Lol. 🤞🏻
