Great week and weekend with my wife. Besides doing my share of working out everyday, we have also worked outside planting flowers, some late season vegetables, and cleaning up our property, and I played a round of golf. The cleanup is a never ceasing job since we have 5 acres of land of which about 2 acres are wooded. Lots of good exercise all week. The week was great weight-wise until until she suggested we celebrate an early Father's Day dinner at Colorado Grill on Saturday night. Really, I chose the restaurant since it is one of our favorites in this state. This is a wonderful restaurant in Middle Tennessee, and serves some delicious (and depending on the meal,...fattening) food. I had grilled redfish over rice covered with a crawfish sauce (sort of like etoufee), a salad, and some broccoli. Oh, we also shared some salmon dip (absolutely delicious) with pita chips. So, this A.M. I woke up and had gained 2 pounds which should be very temporary. I am sure much of it is salt based gain. I am eating relatively light today, and will be back in the groove on Monday. The Lord has blessed us some bountifully. Everyone keep focused, keep exercising, and keep losing / maintaining the weight. God is good !!

We also have about the same amount of land and it sure can keep one busy.

Morticia, cutting 3 acres of lawn & pasture plus keeping the woods clear is a major undertaking. I have 2 very large and 1 smaller tree that came down in some storms several weeks ago that I need to cut up. The smaller limbs are almost done, but 2 large trees is going to take a while. In addition, at about the same time, my 60 inch zero turn mower had some issues with the deck, so that is in the process of being repaired. I started to mow the pasture with my riding lawnmower, but that is like being bounced around on a bucking horse for 2 hours. We love the area where we live, and enjoy living in a somewhat rural area. Though the city is creeping out to where we live. We both like taking care of our property, but it is never ceasing and can be very tiring.
