Counting calories does work - or at least it does for me. I slacked on walking this week because work got in the way and also just didn't feel up to a workout, but keeping calories fairly in check still reaps results and I'm glad for that. Next week I probably won't be tracking as I'll be away visiting family whom I haven't seen for a year so really looking forward to that. I will be trying to eat mindfully and not overindulge, but they do usually have lovely fresh strawberries and such on hand so that will be great. Just hoping the weather plays along for once.

Wishing you all a fabulous Friday and a lovely weekend! xxx

Thanks, Cheese!💕 Yes, it's my freelance graphic design work that gets busy occasionally because I work on quite a few annual events, and sometimes it's all systems go, as I'm sure you know. So that's during the day and the evening job is just 3 hours, 6 to 9pm on weekdays. It's gotten me out of my comfort zone (driving at night in winter, etc.), which is good, and I've met some lovely people as a bonus. I'm visiting my sister in Dublin, and we're all hoping to make the trip to SA at Christmas time if all goes to plan. It had to be postponed last xmas, so it will be 2.5 years since we've been back, and I really can't wait! x

Thanks, Cheese!💕 I wouldn't describe it as killing it, though - more like just very grateful for the loyal clients I've worked with for years - and the technology that makes it possible. The challenge I'm currently failing at is finding new UK/remote clients, but in taking the evening job, I've given myself a bit of leeway to slowly build that up in time. Or at least that's the plan. Thank you for being excited for me to see my sis! I wonder if you've seen your sister too recently because if I remember correctly, she couldn't make it for a visit a while ago. Hope you've seen each other already this year!🤗 And I'm holding my fingers and toes crossed for Christmas, too! 🎄😊

I Hope you don’t overindulge in strawberries the way I did with cherries 😅
