AuntieJan's Journal, 30 Jun 11

Was very happy to get back to the gym this morning... made for a much less stressed butterfly. I was in commando mode as I approached Mr. Elliptical from behind the treadmill, in full battle gear with complete protection for the girls and tunes queued up and ready to kick some butt on smug Mr. E. My clever plan worked and I took him by complete surprise... he didn't make a sound but his face (in lay terms, the digital display) flickered and then went black, and I'm not sure but I think I saw a little puddle of an unknown fluid trickle out from under his feet.

Feeling vindicated but yet having pity, I left him alone to call his mama or otherwise recover, and went back to the treadmill (who by now is a steadfast ally) and did about 35 minutes. It felt good and I do think even the girls appreciated the adventure too!

What's even better is that my other nemesis Mr. Scale must have gotten a tweet or something from the floor because he actually cooperated with me today! And this was even after the mini vacation so woohoo! He must have been impressed with the salmon knickers. Right.

In other less silly news we got more needed rain today and my garden is looking better again. As soon as I get a couple of these projects done I need to spend some quality time with the clippers and Roundup spray. Summer is in full bloom.

Well another busy day tomorrow so time to call it a day... us warriors need their shuteye. Yep.

Peace out................ !

I added that line just for you Pammie! I was so happy to see that scale reporting that awesome lower number, as you say gone forever to the bad pound place... I'm hoping they'll have company after the end of the week. The change-ups in both diet and exercise seem to be working. Have a great day Pam and here's to kicking @$$ in July!!!

Yep Skinny that stubborn scale held out for long enough... but in the end the warrior prevails! I hope you have a really fantastic weekend. Some day I will join you in the under 200 club... hopefully before the end of summer!

Madame B I knew that scale would be shamed by its blatant fibbing the other day and am glad that it is finally cooperating - have a lovely weekend :)
