Up a half pound this week. My sister and I have January birthdays. Last night we had a family dinner and celebrated her 48th and my 64th birthday. It was nice. We chose a calorie friendlier meal that we all contributed to (sister, daughter and me) the meal. It was good but likely a consequence of the half pound gain as I was down throughout the week.
This week was all about getting some supports in place for my highly independent father-in-law who is living on his own, attending to my annual medical check up and getting ready for the family gathering at my place.
For Christmas my daughter gave me a Bissel steam mop for cleaning my hardwood and tile flooring. What fun! I was able to try it out this week and am pleased with the results. I am not a big gadget girl but this one is a keeper!

Thank you, ladies! It was fun and this morning the scale came down so here is to temporary gains! My mop is fun. I am sure I am one of the few who get excited about cleaning tools. The last Christmas with my husband he gave me a Dyson vacuum cleaner. My daughter's boyfriend had a funny look on his face when I was so estactic! I made the comment that I had been lusting for a Dyson for years and the boyfriend promptly bought one for my daughter! I must say I have wonderful thoughts about my husband each time I vacuum. The man knew me!

I love to clean, too! I had a cord Dyson for years but bought a cordless a few years back for a birthday gift to myself. I LOVE it! One of my very favorite things! So, I know what you’re saying!:)
