Today is the first day for my living a healthy 2023. I’m taking charge of my life personally and professionally. First of all, I’m going to track my diet and focus on healthy choices. I’d like to lose 7 pounds before vacation in March to Punta Cana. 143 pounds looks good on my 5’8” muscular frame. The last time I lost weight was by using FS so here I go again. Counting calories and making good nutritional choices!

I must also cut down on alcohol. Two drinks a day is too many. My liver will be happy also. This will be very difficult!

Exercise - I will increase activity as much as possible. I’m a fitness instructor and teach indoor cycle and yoga. I work out 4-5 times a week but want to increase it to 6 times. I strength train 2x a week. I will add extra yoga and cardio.. It’s hard to get outside for cardio as Pennsylvania weather is miserable (wet and cold). Maybe I’ll use rower at Y. It looks like fun!

I will get organized. I’ve already cleaned out 3 drawers of clothes. Heading to the closets soon. Christmas decorations are coming down today and then back to work at the hospital tomorrow to organize my professional life.

Here goes 2023! Loving life and trying to make it even better! 😀
