I can gain weight very easily, I can get back up to 285 in just a couple days if I eat like I use to. On the flip side I can drop back to lower 270's in that same amount of time. for me to get into the 260 range I have to eat enough food, but be very clean with it also. I have fatty liver disease (self inflected), so if I resolve the I could get the real results I want.

We are similar with respect to required diligence. If my daily caloric intake is any higher than 1300 calories, I put on weight. And if I eat less than 1200 calories, I don’t lose because my body goes into preservation mode. I’ve reduced carbs and am trying to only eat when I actually feel I need to rather than eating because I think I’m supposed to! I’m trying to listen rather than eating mindlessly. I wish I could drop 10 pounds quickly but that takes me weeks!! I’m glad to hear you’re learning your own rhythm too and are making positive changes for your health.
