Thankfully, my spouse and I are back to normal in eating,...at least for another 25 days until the Christmas celebration meals start happening. We do have an annual family get-together of about 50 people coming up this weekend, but hopefully will will not splurge too much. Over this past weekend we had leftovers, and, for the most part, the leftovers are gone. I had my normal Sunday breakfast of oatmeal and accompanying coffee, juice, and walnuts. Lunch was a combination of some grilled cod and vegetable leftovers. I love the cod. It is one of my favorite fishes. I ate the last of the cherry cobbler last night as my Sunday evening meal. There were a few pounds of temporary weight added during the past few days, but it will come off within the next couple of weeks. My indoor bike riding begins tomorrow morning preceding the formal PT for my knee injury. It has been 2+ months since I have been able to ride, and hopefully I can put in 15 minutes of so on the recumbent bike. My normal ride is 15 - 18 miles in 60 - 90 minutes. It will take a while to build this regimen back up to the where it should be. My left leg feels neglected due to the injury to the right. :) OK, it's time to get back to my routine. Everyone, keep focused, keep moving, and get it done. Hope everyone had a wonderful & productive Thanksgiving. God is good !!

Hello, good to hear your story. If I were you, I would tell the left leg like this "Thank you for being there in a good condition and supporting my body and the right leg. I care and love you, all." 😃 Actually, I speak to my both hands which became disabled but improving very slowly. My left hand is more slow and weak. Thank you for sharing your story.
