Well, after three weeks visiting friends up near Seattle (and just going to hell in a hand basket!), I weighed in and found that I'd gained yet ANOTHER five pounds. That was IT! Uh, does this sound familiar, like my last posting? Yeah, I know.
So, I broke out my Lee Labrada 12 week challenge stuff - and got to it. Weight training (we have a complete TOTALLY equipped home gym), cardio work, and really REALLY watching my food intake (what, and how much) complete with a log keeping track of calories, carbs, fat, and protein. We quit having cocktails before dinner, a bottle of wine WITH dinner, and maybe cocktails after dinner. Talk about empty calories!
So, I got up this morning (Sunday) and stepped on the scale. VIOLA! Down five pounds! Now THAT'S the inspiration I needed. Results to keep me focused.
Two pounds a week would be just fine, because that would get me back to the 180 I'd like to be in the 12 week window.
The goal? I want to turn sideways, stick out my tongue, and be mistaken for a zipper.
