It's been a busy week & I don't see things slowing down over the next few weeks.

We made it to Costco Thurs. We stocked up on Protein Bars (more of the Brownie & Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, that I have come to like) & Vanilla Protein powder. I like vanilla so I can add different fruit to it. Looked at the meat department. I only picked a large package of Tilapia & Pork Chops. We'll buy smaller servings of Chicken & Salmon @ Kroger. We did buy a Rotisserie Chicken....always a bargain @ Costco! No Kale salad so I bought a Mediterranean Chopped Salad, cherry tomatoes, Clementines & Bagels. I also scored 2 pairs of leggings for Workouts @ $7.99 each!

Saturday, I spent some time in the front garden. I pulled SO many weeds. The wild strawberries had taken over...growing on the path & amongst the other plants. Between being busy with other activities, the heat, then rain, I haven't spent much time gardening other than being sure things got watered. I pulled up a wheelbarrow full of Lamb's Ear. I'll transplant some of it. I worked hard cause I was out of breath & tired by the time I finished.

Today, it rained most of the day so my plan to maybe work some more outside was canceled.

I did a Yoga/ Toning workout this afternoon. Hubby bought a set of Resistance Tubes, so I did a few moves with them.

Then I settled down for some TV viewing....Virgin River again ❤️

Our trainer rescheduled our sessions to Tues. so she could have some family time tomorrow afternoon. We're planning to go for a workout anyway, have PT Tues. then our normal days Wed. & Friday.

Virgin River is so good. Excellent cast. 👍 I don't think I have ever pulled more weeds than I have this last month! The monsoons have been the reason behind the endless weed pulling. I hope we get to see some photos of your garden. 😍

I haven't been to Costco since 2020, right after the Covid shut down started. I let my membership expire. It's over an hour drive to get there. I loved their pork chops! I would butterfly cut them because they were so thick, them freeze. I would cut them in half before cooking. For portion control I was only eating 1/4 of the original pork chop! I love their rotiserrie chickens. I may eventually renew my membership but for now I have a neighbor who does Costco runs and will pick up some things for me. My doctor has told me to avoid protein products, like shakes and bars so it's difficult for me to get enough protein. Good job on the weeding! It's too hot outside to do anything after about 8:30am. I managed to use the leaf blower just to clean up the deck a little this morning.

My husband and I live that Kirkland life. Portion with my vacuum sealer for meat, now we buy the frozen seafood because it's just as good as their fresh and less expensive. Big bag of power greens and peppers too.
