Wow- did not expect SO MUCH stress eating this weekend. BIL and SIL and niece were here and it was very anxiety inducing. Don’t want to get into it too much. Everyone’s probably sick of me “getting back on track” but here I am taking it day by day. Good news is I’ve been within the same 5 lb range up and down the past week and a half, so not too much damage to undo. So here we go, resetting again today, one day at a time! One MEAL at a time.
69.0 kg Lost so far: 12.6 kg.    Still to go: 7.8 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

I’m 100% with you. I’ve been losing and gaining the same 5 2 pounds all summer. Today I’m at it with no more cheats until I get back down to my goal.

Although they said they might come back for a day next weekend 😅 they’re moving out of state in a few weeks so they’re basically making the rounds saying bye to family for a while.. Groatmeal- we got it!! Panda- thanks! Yes I felt like yesterday I had to recover by comforting myself by eating whatever and however much my little heart desired😝 I need new coping mechanisms!!

I find any time I have company...even people I like 😊 it's harder to stay on track. Toss in someone that stresses you & all H--L can break loose. Just start over & keep going. This is life & there are always going to be little hitches.

You don’t have to “reset”, you just resume your normal way of eating and give a little boost to your activity level if you can. No restarts needed, you are just experiencing some fluctuations. It happens to everyone. No guilt, no recriminations, just forge ahead.

I totally understand. I've said a million times: Starting Over, or Starting Again. When I "fall off the wagon" I don't know how to get back on. Sometimes it was a year before I made a new start thst "stuck".

I am a stress eater. Head straight to the fridge. Now that I am accountable, it helps.

My viewpoint... Not starting over, Continuing on to Healthy. Life is not a straight line, thankfully it has a scenic route. Sometimes there's more up hill than downhill. Just remember the views along the way are spectacular some days. Other days it's tough to see out of the forest for the trees blocking the path. BELIEVE and PROCEED!
