Up a little but still in the 130's 😁

Our HVAC guy ended up taking longer than planned today replacing the indoor heat pump unit. Luckily, Hubby was around to help him & his helper get it up into the attic space. The small opening is in a closet / washer dryer area. Hubby had some straps & lended a hand to get it up.

Originally, he had said we'd leave them to their work & head over to the Gym. He decided he better stick around til they finished the work. He said maybe we should just go to the Gym tomorrow, but by that time I'd already gotten ready. I didn't want to put it off.

In the meantime Hubby was on the computer checking on our tax return from 2020 that they still haven't processed! We have had conflicting correspondence, our tax accountant has been in touch with them....still we wait. It is a real cluster f**k. It feels like they're holding our refund hostage.

Finally the guys get finished & Hubby gets the final bill 😳 Let's just say now I needed to go to the Gym & work out some frustration! I put Brandy Carlisle (soothing) on Pandora, put in my ear buds & proceeded to walk it off on the treadmill. Weights next....then the bike. Finally, a short soak in the hot tub. Did you know exercise releases serotonin & dopamine 😊 I felt soooo.... much better driving home.

I do know my highest energy level is mid morning til about 3 PM. I much prefer getting to the Gym by 12:30ish. I ended having to eat some Hummus & pretzel crisps while I was waiting or I wouldn't have made it thru my workout. Usually we get ready & go right after breakfast. (We eat late morning)

Although, I feel great after working out, my muscles are sore. I guess that's to be expected.

Hubby made us both Bloody Mary's while I made dinner. I was in the mood 🍅 I made a cold tuna noodle salad for dinner. It was pretty good. Lots of goodies in it.

Well, I'm off to bed. Tomorrow is another day....

Yay for sore muscles. Hope you took beginning pics! Home repairs are no fun. :(

DP, do you have sore muscles after each workout or is that more a beginners thing? I did take a before photo. I'm not seeing much physical change yet. I am seeing strength changes....not huge but improving 😊 They did do a body scan so I'm curious to see where I improve there.

If I go every day, it's harder to be sore but all it takes is 3-4 days off or doing a new exercise when I'm lifting will just hit differently sometimes. I don't think it's proven that muscle soreness means the workout is better, but I always secretly feel that way. 😊 I've been getting my triceps sore. it's hard for me to feel it in my back, though I lift heaviest there.

It sounds like you are loving the gym! Maybe, some day, I'll go back. I envy you saying your highest energy level for the day being from mid morning until 3pm. I wake around 3am-4am every morning then try to sleep a little more, but usually don't> I get up to feed the cats and Bobby and the outside feral kitty and all the birds. That's when my highest energy is. By noon I am already getting tired and by 3pm it feels like bedtime! I made a cold tuna salad with shell macaroni last week. It was good. I made enough for 2 meals but only ate it one day. The remaining has been in the fridge for about a week so I need to toss it out.
