Ok, this is it! At a whopping 204 pounds, I’ve finally arrived at the “Open the left palm – face up, form the right hand into a fist, and slap it down into the left palm” moment. This indicates that I’ve had it!
I’ve handwritten some promises made to myself in a spiral notebook. Condensing them down, I’ve promised to get exercise EVERY day, be it weights, walking, bicycling – anything. But it’s every day! I’ve promised to quit boozing it during the week. No cocktails before or after dinner. Of course, a healthy glass of wine with dinner IS ok – ahem. I’ve also promised to quit eating junk food, snack stuff, even sampling at Costco - ha.
I’ve set my first goal of getting to a “solid” 199 pounds by September 27th. This will take me beyond my son’s wedding reception on September 20th.
I will revisit the goal after September 27th.
