RhumbaGirl's Journal, 18 Jul 22

Hello and happy Monday, FS friends. It’s overcast and rainy today here in the northeast with higher temps and humidity coming by mid-week. So I’m happy for the rain! Apparently I shot by 186 too fast a couple of weeks ago so here I am again but hopefully not for long. Today is my 18-month anniversary on FS counting by weeks and I am at just over 50 lbs. lost. Here is a glimpse of where I’m headed, 30 pounds from now These are the best pictures I can find (assuming I can get them to load) of my earlier 50-lb. loss that took 4 years. This time I want to see 158 again and figure out how to maintain it. Even at my slow rate, it’s doable in the next year, and that is really exciting.

As for NSV news, I had more blood tests last week and did see positive results in lowering my cholesterol numbers. Hooray! Assuming this will keep the endocrinologist from wanting to discuss whether I need to go on a statin drug at the appointment on Thursday. Also expecting him to say I need less thyroid replacement.

So grateful for the helpful and supportive community here. Blessings to all.
