SherryeB's Journal, 17 Jul 22

I had the thought this morning I've been hovering around 142 for a bit....should I aim for 140 or a little lower. I decided to leave my goal weight (144) as is and just focus on building muscle & strength. Hubby is VERY motivated & his enthusiasm will definitely help keep me on the right track. I would think I should lose a few inches & no matter my weight I'll definitely look better. 😊

We attended the Memorial for our friend yesterday. It was nice. It does reinforce you shouldn't put off reconnecting with people or doing the things you keep putting off cause you're busy. It absolutely poured rain about an hour before we were leaving for town. Then the sun came out.

We rode into town with our neighbors/ friends & had planned to go for a bite to eat after the Memorial. There was food served there, so I had a small plate. We & another couple did go for a drink after. I had a big glass of ice water & a glass of Pinot Grigio.

Hubby said he wasn't too hungry @ dinner time so I made tuna sandwiches & chips. Afterwards we watched "The Man From Toronto"...an absolutely silly movie on Netflix 😜 It did make us laugh.

Today, we're chilling at home. I made Ham biscuits & fruit for breakfast.

Threw in a load of laundry, unloaded the dishwaher, watered a couple of outdoor plants that didn't get watered by the rain, fertilized the Mandevilla plants....Now I'm sitting outside in the shade. I'm going to try to read a chapter or 2 of our Book Club selection....The Gun Seller. It's by Hugh Laurie, the star of "House" on TV.

We saw the two fawns when we were walking day before yesterday again. I got more pics...one really good one, cause we were a little closer. I'll post it when we're able to do photos again.

Have a great Sunday everyone ❤️

I've found that when I've lost weight in the past I am so focussed on the goal but once I reach it I don't stay there. Usually I can maintain at about 5 pounds higher. Last time I lost weight and maintained for several years I stayed within a range of about 5 pounds. I had reached a low point of 129 but was comfortable staying around 130-134. I haven't seen the fawn for a few days. I have 2 or 3 does on my property all the time some look pregnant but the one with the fawn isn't hanging around. Wish it would rain here, but it probably won't happen until November. Miss your food pictures!
