I just don't know what I am doing some of the time. My life right now is not really my own and in a way I feel depressed about it all. I go to work, deal with my parents and their illnesses, come home and crash. I don't sleep well, my weekends are not totally my own. I'm just very tired of it all. I have problems right now with the house and wanting/needing to sell it. I don't know if I financially can (would get less than what I owe and would have to come up with the difference, impossible). I realize there are a lot of people out there that are in the same situation or worse than I, but still I feel trapped. I know my woe has suffered and I am tring to get back on track. I haven't been completely off the low carb, but again I haven't been totally on either. I'm tring to get back on track.

Hey Joyce - great to see you back online! Sounds like life has got you a bit down these days. I think it might just be time for a pep talk!!! In the midst of your stuff... you've got to find a way to bring peace to your daily life! And while you may not be able to change the job, the house, the situation w/ the folks, etc... YOU can change YOU! And how you look at things, how you deal with them, how you prioritize life for YOU... Would it make you happy to go walk the dogs? Then do it! Or would you rather just sit down w/ a good book you started but never finished! Then do that instead! Do you want to be focused on your way of eating right now??? or are you happy where you are at weight wise? Do you have any goals set for yourself? Do you have a target? Because w/ nothing to aim for... you'll surely get lost in the process. I hope you know I love you! And I hope you are willing to come back here regularly and start to re-focus on YOU! Been missing ya much!

Paula, I knew I could count on you to give me the well needed Pep talk, thank you very much for caring and letting me know you care. I'm printing this out and putting it in my wallet. I'll look at it when I feel the blues but also I will do something about it :-)

Joyce I am so sorry that you are dealing with so many things right now. And while other things may seem like they are spinning out of control, there is one thing that you CAN control, and that will make you feel better, and that is your food. It is so difficult sometimes to follow the low carb way of eating when we are stressed, but that is really when we need it the most. Those white (sugar, flour) things just make us feel worse. And finding something that will relieve the stress, like walking that puppy, will help also. I live in the country, and walking, listening to the birds, seeing the flowers that are blooming, enjoying the beauty that God has made, really, really helps relieve my stress. I will be praying for you, and I sure hope that the stressful things in your life start to get resolved. Hugs!
