Don't let the scale become your world, everybody has ups and downs. The time of day, clothing you are wearing all change the number. I used to make the scale my world now I watch myself and only use one day as my weigh in day

I started doing the same! That first few weeks, the weight drops every day, even a little, and it's exciting...then when you start seeing the fluctuations or no change at all, it gets discouraging. Wouldn't it be nice to see it continue to go down every day! That would be so sweet! But, unfortunately, it's not that easy, so once a week for me! Don't get discouraged. You're doing great!

Thanks for the encouragement! I read on someone's journal recently that they still weigh in everyday, but only record their weight once a week. I wonder if that would be good for me? I think a lot of this is a mind game with me. Will I be MORE motivated by seeing the scale creep up if I've only followed my meal plan "reasonably"? I'll just have to see how it goes...and promise myself I won't give up, I'll just try something else if that doesn't work.

It is a mind game for sure! You'll find what works for you! Everyone plays a different game, and finds their own strategy to win! Have an awesome day!

Yes, put that scale away and rely on how your clothes are fitting. Less pressure for sure.
