Saturday ... The morning air has a cool breeze and our expected high today is 78 which will be great. Yesterday evening was the Girl Scouts Mother's Day tea. We had fun making Mothers Day cards for the girls Mothers and Grandmothers. Unfortunately, Jodie had some wicked chemo treatment on Thursday and wasn't able to attend, but her daughter brought her home a lovely tea cup and card. The girls have planned a horseback riding trip and a couple of swimming get togethers for over the summer. Next year our troop invited girls from a disbanded group and we will see if we can hold on to the girls a little bit longer as they tend to start dropping out at this age. This will be our fourth year in Girl Scouts and it has been rewarding watching the girls grow up into their maturity.

Brian and I will attend a family barbecue this afternoon. The outdoor social gathering time of the year has already begun. I will focus on eating the High energy good for me foods.
