My progress is slower than I’d like but that sentiment mostly likely echoes the thoughts of many FS members! I comfort myself with the belief that my new weight may be more easily sustained as the decline is more gradual.

Now that my BP is lower my thoughts turn to the possibility that I may be able to limit (or stop altogether) the use of puffers. Perhaps I can manage mild asthma with regular exercise and a lower weight in future.

Thank you, DomOlive and CrystalJo🤗. Isn’t it ridiculous that I had hopes of losing pounds+ each week when it took me years (especially the last 2+) to put it on 🤭?!! I’m going to work on remaining on track AND being more realistic😏

It’s great progress especially with a lower BP Just remember it’s not a sprint it’s a marathon keep at it and you will see the results you are looking for it’s just not instant. 👍😊

Your focus when you started, was healthier BP. Success! It has taken me 2.5+ years to lose 90#. That is what my body wants to do. Do You!

Sly, you are exactly right. Fears about heightened BP and potential health risks was my only real motivation to lose weight. I’m not someone who believes every women should look super thin. I am committed to being more realistic now.
