No reason for the weight gain. My insomnia is getting worse, and you only lose weight when you sleep. Difficult getting into a deep sleep. Have to keep trying with the herbal teas.

I don’t sleep well either, but I drink far too much coffee! Switched back to just hot water instead, after supper. I’ll sleep better … if previous experience counts!

I hear you, insomnia is making me miserable, too, and the negative consequences (on my current and future health) of not getting enough sleep worry me very much as well. No tea had helped me, unfortunately, but CBD sometimes works, and helps me fall and stay asleep. I just wish it always worked. But hey! I am happier to try that than taking the sleeping pills I was prescribed (no judgement on anyone taking sleeping medication, of course, I just don’t react well to that type of medication, I feel like a train had hit me when I wake up, never rested). Have you given CBD a shot? (I am no expert, I was just lucky I found a combo that works for me about 2/3 of the time, after trying about 15 different options over a few months. Interestingly, the product that works for me doesn’t work for my partner at all, and the opposite is true as well. Go figure :] )

Same here! I've ditched coffee from my list. but yet, it didn't improve my sleep.

How severe your insomnia is, my personal suggestion is to never use any OTC medicine like CBD for it. In the long run, they've effects which aren’t pleasant. Saying from my experience.

riaau, I too have had some success with CBD products, certainly for piano relief which helps me settle faster. I too am currently suffering from insomnia, also concerned about my health. But I've added some stretching before bed, about an hour before laying down, it has helped. I wish you rest :)

Thanks for sharing, WorldChampK! What kind os stretching routine do you do? And for how long? I was thinking I should start with some stretching anyways, so any tips you or anyone else may have are welcome!
