So the weight loss wasn't off the chain. Part of this journey is how I feel. I feel GREAT. I sleep better. I eat healthier. I inspire others. I once again have 20/20 vision (with glasses), even though my depth perception is still off a bit. When walking I have to look straight ahead -- and I feel like I'm 12' tall. Left eye has Rx, right eye doesn't. Another personal challenge. LOL.

Bought a new wedding dress this week. It's absolutely amazingly beautiful. We have the service nearly planned...still have a few other parts to work on. Every free Saturday we're both working (putting in some hard labor) at my parent's house, in preparation of our wedding. We both admitted marriage scares us. But doesn't God tell us to face our fears? God will provide the strength to us. Honestly it is very comforting to know that. It's weird. It's an anxious fear...trying something new and permanent...committing my spirit to one man. It's also very exciting, and something I look forward to. It still blows my mind that it's happening to me. It was kind of good to talk with Allen about that yesterday...to know he's feeling the same feelings, and like me, he feels this is a match made in Heaven. God brought us together for a reason. Of course, I know it won't be sunshine and roses every day...we both have the reality check going on...but it won't always be lightening and downpours either. Our God is good and just. He will see us through, and we look forward to His attendance at our wedding and in our marriage.
