I think I need to add calories now but it's the hardest thing to do when all your life you're programed that less is better. I've been a dieter all my adult life so this puts me out of my comfort zone.

I hear ya. after 8 months of calorie deficit, I'm wary of eating to maintain, once I get to goal weight.

I still track everything. I've raised my calories 100 at a time. For me, at 1350 calories I am losing very slowly - around a pound per month. So I won't be able to go above 1400/day. The additional 300 calories are wonderful wiggle room to explore new recipes or add menu items. But I HAVE to track everything so that I don't ruin my hard-earned success. I reached my doctor's goal (151) Aug 3, 2021. I'm inching toward my goal of 140. I plan to stay there. So what I'm eating now is very close to what I will eat for the rest of my life. This app will continue to be trusty monitor.😁

This is the fun part...adding calories 🤗 You don't have to add them all at once, just average 100 per day more this week and another 100 per day next week etc, until you neither lose nor gain. It doesn't mean you have to eat garbage (like I did this week), just more fuel for your body.

mom always said I'm "bass akwards". I love adding calories. 2800 is so limited. 😁😁
