Made a cool discovery about my body today! At least I think I did? I'm going to test it on the next plateau. So for the last week to two weeks I haven't really dropped any weight, been bouncing up and down between a few lbs even though my diet and excersize level hadn't changed at all. Earlier this week I was dissapointed in myself because there was so much high fat food on my list. I was trying to even out my macros instead of focusing on the weight loss, but I felt I wasn't making the healthiest choices. Well it's the end of the week now and I went to far and now have an excess amount of fat on my macros and a deficit of carbs. However, now all of a sudden the lbs are peeling off again. TMI - I'm also finding its helping return me to a state of regularity lol which has been lacking due to the medication I've been taking. I think my body wants a high fat, high protein, low carb diet. So I'm going to do some research on healthier food options and see if this is a fluke or not. I feel more energetic coming into the end of this week too. I want to assume that's because my hypothesis is correct and my body wants to burn fat for energy instead of carbs. Just thinking out loud I guess. A new experiment will keep me focused!

That’s a great discovery. It’s worked for me in the past. Reversed my diabetes eating that way. Good luck and happy experimentation

Yes…it’s crazy that when I eat a high fat meal or full fat yogurt that I finally lose a bit! I was so worried that because of my very fatty supper and snack last night that I had gained more weight but to my great surprise the scale moved in the right direction! I agree with you! Just wanted to share! Good luck!
