We've been getting prepared for snow here in North Georgia. The forcast has it starting late tonight into morning. There may be sleet / ice mixed in with high wind gusts. That of course could give us power outages again. We're as ready as we can be. I don't mind snow, in fact I quite like it. It does mean we can't get out of our driveway til it melts. Hubby got propane for the grill & gas for the generator today just in case. We have bottled water, plenty of food and wood for the fireplace. The bathtub is also full to flush the toilets if needed.

I have a favorite recipe for skillet Chicken Pot Pie I haven't made in quite some time. Decided it needed to happen so I got it prepped this afternoon & it just went in the oven 😁😋 I was thinking it would be pretty high calorie. I weighed & measured all the ingredients as I put it together & did a calculation. Surprisingly a serving is not as high as I thought it might be.

I got all of the Christmas decorations down & packed. Just have to move the boxes into the attic. Hubby usually helps with the heavier boxes so we'll have to plan to get that done. I do still have the slender Alpine trees in the corner of the living room...minus ornaments but with lights. I like to turn them on at night. I also have lighted garland on the deck rail we can see from the kitchen window. I enjoy it on gloomy days & in the dark.

My weight has been stable around 145 give or take a pound or 2. I also measured my waist & hips & they're the same. I was able to scale back a couple of days keeping my calories closer to 1800. I am less active when it's cold out & feel like eating a little more. Just trying to maintain a balance.

Time to feed the dogs. Lucy got her teeth cleaned on Monday. She had to have some pulled. She did get back to normal within a couple of days & is eating again. I was worried about her but all good now.
