SherryeB's Journal, 27 Dec 21

I've been eating a bit outside my normal parameters...a cookie here....a slice of cheesecake....a serving of mixed nuts...an extra cocktail...but my weight seems to be fairly steady. I'm over goal by a couple of lbs. but not over my absolute highest I want to be. I plan to enjoy the holidays thru New Years, then back to my normal WOE. Photos in my FB memories of previous Christmases where I was quite round are good reminders I don't want to go there!

Hubby & I had a quiet Christmas after the kids left to go home on Tues. After the family all gathered a week ago for our Christmas celebration we discovered a couple of us were positive for Covid. After that we had 7 more positives but a bunch of negatives as well. Symptoms have been mild for the most part...no one getting exceptionally ill. Hubby & I were both negative. I guess having had Covid earlier this year, vaccinated & getting our boosters in the past month gave us extra protection. Several of those testing positive were vaccinated. It did interfere with Christmas plans for everyone. 😒

I watched 4 episodes of "Maid" on Netflix yesterday afternoon. I did join Hubby for an afternoon walk though.

Chicken for dinner tonight.

We're trying to get some lobster for New Years dinner. Hubby looked for Christmas but what he found were small lobster tails, so he passed. We're going to try Costco. 🦞🦞
