The last thing I remember, I was driving my car when all of a sudden, a bright light flashed from the sky....

I woke up and a whole week had passed. I have no memories other than waking up briefly and seeing little green dudes with sharp, pokey tools staring at me while I laid on an operating table.

Two observations since my return:

(1) My natural body odor now smells of freshly-baked chocolate chip cookies 🤤

(2) and now I crave whole foods (or at least less-processed food). 😳

But truly, no idea what happened while I was on vacay, but a steak now tempts me beyond the lure of a donut!

Seriously though, I'm starting to meal prep and cook more this week. I have been living on boxed, canned, bagged, or fast food for years without a problem.

These past few days have been filled with *gasp* healthy, nutritious food like tri-tip, fresh seafood, and the best damn lasagna this side of Heaven! Not to mention all the fruit and veggies!

Balance has been achieved: more fresh meat and veggies to accompany my ice cream and cookies. I'm gonna enjoy this surreal experience as long as it lasts!
