Hmm... I was sure my 20lbs down would nolonger be after this morning's weigh. The scale is still being kind to me though =p I do expect that will go up a few points (or more) before I actually get below 154lbs. The jump from 155.2lbs on Thursday to 154lbs Friday (and now Saturday) is just too much to be actual loss. I suppose it is possible the 155.2 was the anomaly. I have no frame of reference to know either way atm, so only time will tell. For now I'll just enjoy being 20lbs down =)

Yesterday was a success. I have to post about this, because when I stop reminding myself to be proud about resisting temptation is probably when I stop having the will power to do it, lol. We spent a lot of yesterday out. The weather was gorgeous and we had an appointment at 4:15pm, so we left the house about 11am and just spent a day out. We did a little party shopping for my son's angry birds party (I spent the evening drawing piggy faces on green balloons and angry bird faces on colored balls for a couple games we are planning). We decided to spent a couple hours at the park (just lovely weather) so we picked up some bananas, strawberries, grapes, string cheese, orange juice pouches and sandwiches from Subway. Subway is a very rare 'cheat treat' with our grain allergies. After the park we stopped at Andy's for concretes. They literally have the best concretes I've ever tasted. However, I didn't get one. The boys both got a kids chocolate but my husband and I both got unsweetened tea. I was really proud of doing that =)

I did go over my calorie range for the day, ringing in the day at 1388, which is 88 calories over my 1100-1300 range. I'm ok with that. I literally just came off of nearly a month of eating at maintenance (probably 1600-1800 calories a day depending) so 1388 is still a few hundred calories down and a success for a day out =)

***Morning Peak Flow: 410*** 410! Woot! Over 400, I almost forgot in the being happy about resisting those yummy concretes. So that means I'll be doing a nebulizer and hopping on the bike today. Hopefully my lungs aren't too opposed to that plan of action =p I need to knock that out soon because we've got my best friend and her nieces coming over after lunch.

It must feel nice to be where you have arrived. Great to hear your family had such a great day together. I have noticed I enjoy food much more when I am only eating a little bit. Sounds like your kids had the kind of day they will savor the rest of their lives.

I have never heard of Andy's concrete, so I searched google images and saw it. Wow, you did make a great choice by getting unsweetened tea! So proud of you!

Thank you all. I haven't quite arrived yet Coletta... but I'm getting there =) Euheide, his birthday is in June, I'm just an early planner. I have learned with the medical stuff that it's better to get things done way ahead of time so that they don't get derailed closer to time by something coming up. Deb, thank you! I am still surprised I was able to pass that up. They are my favorite concrete/ice cream, but I am determined and those calories just wouldn't have helped at all =p

Awesome Calyn! I took one of my former students out for ice cream the other day and just drank my water. The smell of sugar was not so nice when I walked in either.
