It is a pleasure to see the weight go down this week. It is a loss of 1.8 pounds.

The part that is frustrating is that for the entire month of October I only lost 0.8 pounds. I lost every week but one. The one week I didn't lose I gained 3.4 pounds which effectively wiped out the other 4 weeks of work. This is a huge reminder that gains are often the real story and not always the losses. If I had managed to have merely held steady that week with no gain or loss I would have been down over 4 pounds in the month instead of less than a pound!

I have had to concede to the weather and accept that life happens to other people and so my final bit on my home will just have to wait until spring. Yesterday all the supplies were tucked away for winter and the job will resume in the spring sometime - April-May I am thinking. What is done looks great and I am well pleased.

I remain hopeful that the metal and large debris will be attended to in the next week or two. There is a viable plan in place but... you know...life happens to people and plans go astray!

I am having a lot of fun bonding with my new kitty, Journey She is a 2.5 year old Bengal. I discovered that she loves to play fetch. It is the funniest thing as she scrambles after the toy, bats and plays with it and then brings it to me to toss again. She can keep it up for 30 minutes or more! Totally entertaining.

OH! I have two Bengals and yes they do fetch and will walk on a leash if you get her a harness and leash!

my friend has two bengals and they have their own cattery which is a room where they have built a ton of things for them to climb on and lurk, including a literal catwalk up towards the ceiling and some floating steps down (which are totally ignored). have fun!!!

Cats are smart, the ones that don't play fetch is b/c they think it's beneath them.
