It is always nice to enter in a loss from last week. I lost 1.4 pounds this week. However, it is always in how you look at it! Earlier in the week I was an additional 1.2 pounds down and slowly crept back up to where I have weighed in at. Somehow it feels like a gain! Funny, how that works. It is all in perception.

As to why I crept up - there is no mystery. Added nuts, peanut butter and at the end some added pesto. Those are all calorie laden and add up quickly. I will need to keep those specific items under strict surveillance!

This week has been off and on quite rainy. This has impeded progress on my house stucco. Also workers have been coming down with colds and some have had home issues to deal with. In the end it was fairly spotty progress....and winter is coming! I am hopeful that next week will go better.

I have brought in the last of the garden produce and winterized my garden box in readiness for next spring.

Good for you Carol - you have been consistent and done well. Peanut butter would be harder for me to portion control too

HCB there are some food items that are so calorie dense (like peanut butter) that a little extra mounts up so darn quickly! Somehow if you have a little extra watermelon it just isn't all that big of a deal but a few extra nuts is a deal!

Excellent work Carol! As I am sure you know, it is the weekly trend that matters most. Those little daily ups and downs are psychological issues for us, but it is the big picture that counts. Keep up the good work!

I agree! As much as I love nuts 🌰, I know they are basically fat bombs 💣 so am mindful of how many go into my mouth 👄 🤣

BrendaWNC- weekly and monthly trends are where the rubber hits the road. Flucuations are to be expected. However if I don't watch those flucuations carefully they can quickly become a trend!

Chow Moore- nuts are so nutritious but also so dense with calories that they have to be treated with kid gloves! Definitely my Achille's Heel.
