After I had Albertsons seafood salad my throat got scratchy and I didn't feel well the rest of the day. I read the label and it was imitation crab which is full of /$#=^;. It's got sugar and wheat etc plus egg whites and of course mayo. This is the second time, I've reacted to this store-bought substance, the last time I was unsure. Now I am pretty sure that even though I like the taste, it isn't for me again. I'm sure besides the carbs the additives/preservatives etc are better left alone. If I want crab salad, I will need to invest in some crab.

Nothing like reading the label before buying. Preparing your own food takes time and energy, but it has advantages.

I have found some salads to be labeled crab salad when it was really that junk they call imitation crab. I think it tastes awful and I've gotten very careful about any claims of crab. Fortunately your reaction wasn't more severe. 💜
