So you logged out & came back to US and it failed? I have found one weigh in there fixes whatever was hanging and can weigh in the US fine. On the other hand, I do like the kilo number, LOL.

Every time I weigh in on the US site I get an error message about an unexpected error has occurred after I hit submit. It updates my weight and posts my journal entry but my signature ticker does not get updated. If I weigh in on the UK site, (it still weighs in pounds), and I don't get the error and my signature ticker gets updated. :) Weird! I probably should care about my signature ticker so much, but for some reason I do. Using the UK site for weigh in's seems to be a good work around. After I weigh in on the UK site, I log out and log back in to the US site and everything is updated and working as it should.

It doesn't fix it permanently, but if you weight in each time on the UK site you wont get the error and your sig ticker will update. That's what I'm going to do from now on.
