Diea's Journal, 28 Feb 14

I lost a half a pound this week. Not bad. I want to celebrate the small victories too. I'm glad I'm still on the decline. I'm glad also that I said no to cake at yesterday's office baby shower. I'm also staying clear from the chocolate plate in my coworker's office. What I am splurging on are lollipops left over from Valentine's Day. They are so delicious ad sugary. There's a place for many of them at my house by the door to go outside, so I've been grabbing one as I leave. I wonder if this is what is halting me form getting to the 1-2 pounds a week I am hoping for. I should take them to the office and leave them in the kitchen. The volunteers will take free stuff. They usually do.

I also miss exercising. Since I'm nursing an injury, I stopped doing my morning strength training. I'm not complaining per se. I just want to be honest with myself. I can't wait to be able to go back to waking up and working on my muscles. Instead of weights or bicycle crunches or leg raises or whatever I do in the morning, I'm doing my occupational therapy when I awaken. It takes up time and it's painful but worthwhile. The numbness is still present but not as acute.

I noticed on my weight loss chart that if I get down to 151 pounds the weight loss line will change from yellow to green. I so wanna use this as motivation. That's only 3 pounds away! I wonder what's after green. I guess I can only find out as I lost more weight! Green, get ready for me!

Congratulations on your weight loss! It's probably not a bad idea to give some of those lollipops away lol. Regarding your injury, get better! :)

Great job on the weight loss. Any loss is great because it means you're on the downward trend :) Definitely bring the lollipops to work so you can avoid them like the other treats at work. Sugar is the worst thing there is. Great job on doing your occupational therapy. If you keep working on your recovery, you'll be back to working out in no time :) Great job on setting a short-term goal for yourself! Good luck with reaching your goal :)
