So I go to my doctor yesterday and get yelled out for the amount of carbs I been eating and gaining weight. I mean I put on 5.5 lbs since my last visit 3 1/2 months ago. My A1C has been 5.7 for the last 9 months etc... I almost told her to go F herself. But I bit my tongue. When she was done lecturing me I told her first off your nurse weighed me with my shoes on, bikers wallet, car keys (3 car keys an bobs), and Cell phone. which made my scale weight read 279 lbs. So I politely told her lets weigh my stuff, so I put everything on the scale and wow it weighed 5.3 pounds, now I said if you take off the standard for weight for heavy jeans, leather belt, etc.. you would get the true weight which is 271.4 lbs. I calmly told her that I weigh myself each day, right after I shower, my scale is calibrated so I know what my weight is, in Gods suit of clothes... She than asked me how do I know my scale is calibrated, told her I have a US weight and measure set at home. Which I took from my old job when the company closed down. The weight set is used to calibrate pharmacy scales that's how I know. If she like I will go get come back and calibrate her office scales for her. Additionally, the BGL reading her nurse took was after I ate so my reading was were it was supposed to be. Her nurse recorded it as fasting. So in a way I did tell her to go F herself.
