Well this weigh in was bitter sweet. While it is great to not see the 160's any more I don't feel great about the loss. On Tuesday afternoon I came down with a 24 virus that had every last bit of food I ate on Tuesday promptly up and out of my body. The illness persisted through the night Tuesday and in between trips to the bathroom I tried to take baby sips of water to at least stay hydrated, but I believe I failed miserably at my attempt. By Wednesday evening I tried to get myself in the mood to eat a little something, because at this point I had zero calories for 24 hours. I had NO appetite but managed to eat a very small snack and kept drinking water. Thursday I woke and all cramping in my gut was gone but I still was not very hungry I managed to eat 4 out of 5 of my small meals, but still below the calorie intake I should have for a day. So here we are Friday, I woke up hungry, a great sign. I weighed myself and there it is, but really at best it is probably mostly water weight loss and at worst I might have lost some lean muscle tissue being in such a huge calorie deficit for two days straight. Not the victory I was looking for and I will take the weigh in with a grain of salt and will prepare myself for maybe a small bump back up next week as I try and repair the last few days of depletion. As a side note this was the third round of illness in 3 months time in our house. I am hoping that there is more smooth sailing ahead.

Can't do much when you are sick. It might stay off or it weight may go up a little. Just a little blip on the screen. Keep going and it all evens out when you get to goal.
