Down another lb. Finally. Losing weight seems to work best for me after one of my "fast" days. So yesterday, I had just a piece of toast for breakfast and an apple for lunch. Then a modest supper for a total of 800 calories. Not exactly a fast according to the proponents of this idea, but a low calorie count non the less. I'm not sure if the 500 calorie count is important for a fast day in females. Is there a rationale for this and is there a sound scientific explanation for this number? I should check this on Pubmed database when I have some time.

The other thing I've realized is that FS way over credits calories burned during exercise and the way I've been calculating my activity in one day is over accounting my calories burned by twice what I actually spend. Based on calories then, I need a 7000 calorie deficit, not a 3500 calorie deficit to burn 1 lb. of fat. It's a numbers game.

Family in from out of town and things are getting busier as the funeral approaches. Another week of eating challenges.
