February Freedom- I remember how I looked at the world so very long ago and it brings me comfort. As my child self I was in tune with Source Energy. NOW I am able to tap into vivid memory as I am awake basking in the sunlight of my life and tuning in and turning on to that freedom.

February 1969 - I was 6 years old living on the Otis AFB in Cape Cod Massachussettes. In the winter months I would walk to school with my sisters in the snow. Oh, how I remember the feeling and what it was like to be so shivering cold. It was so very nice to get into the warm school building and sit on the floor with my peers in front of the console T.V. in an open area in front of the offices. The weather report was usually on as we watched the morning news anchors before classes opened. I remember learning about the huge country I was living in by looking at the weather map. I dreamed about the Sunny State of California where I knew my Mother was born. We moved where I am now living in Northern California in February 1970:) I saw my very first palm tree, the Citrus Trees were abundant with fruit and the sun was shining bright the day we reached our destignation all those many years ago. My world went techni-color.

In the summer months on the Cape I played outside under the the same sun and moon that watches over me to this very day in time and space. I marveled at the sand dunes as the rays of sunshine rolled along patterns of darkness and lightness from cloud shadows. Lying with my back on the ground I would look up into the sky and dream as I closed my eyes and watched the patterns of light behind my closed eyes. Watching floating bubbles travel across the red background I was meditating, but back then didn't have a word for it. In my thoughts I talked to God. I imagined that my backyard was filled with amusement park rides and balloons and all of my friends played happily. I would play for hours in the Little Woods as I would look across the way at the Big Woods which was the place where the dangerous train tracks lied and the birds and squirrels made the forbidden forest their home. My imagination was wild and free.

There was a long and winding road that led us in and out of the Air Force Base and I remember hearing the Beatles song "Long and Winding Road". When my parents would venture off the base with us in our station wagon, I heard that "Long and Winding Road" song back then. Now, I cannot help but think about they way things were as myself a 6 year old. Reflecting and revisiting memories of me, my 3 sisters, my aunt and my parents, emotions come rushing in, such is the tide of life. Some memories are nice to visit and others will not be as wonderful but they are part of the me that I am in this very moment. I am enjoying reflecting on the me back then and embracing the me in the NOW!

Wow, the Beatles. I remember a 2nd hand record player for my 10th birthday I think, with a 45 record of "I wanna hold your hand." Yeah, some memories are worth a revisit! I had to do a quick addition when you mentioned 1969 though. GADS! I was 13 and life went downhill from there lol. HAPPY WEEKEND {{{hugs}}}

Today, Mary is out of school and will have the whole week next week off too. We decided last minute to go roller skating today since the rain clouds have rain clouds...boy is it pouring here. Beware of small boys with crash helmets on. Poor guy fell right in front of me taking out two more kids! You should have seen my dance and wobble and dancing some more until I had no choice but to fall. I almost landed on my feet but landed safely on my knees as if my prayer was answered, I didnt get hurt! TOWANDA!!!!!!!!
