So far my rules of thumb have been this.
cook with butter. too many fake olive oils, or veggie oils etc out there.
Avoid Salad, If your like me salad was before or with a meal. not a meal itself.
Pemican! Just made it for the first time recently. its really awesome and FULL of energy. I use it as a delivery system for maca, as that stuff is gross tasting but supposed to help with alerrtness etc. however note it has carbs. i also tossed a thwack of ground walnuts in there & spice.
Celery. Sauteed in butter its got next to no carns or sugar but lots of fiber. easy to fill up on with pretty much any veg or meat with it. life saver. i eat about two clumps a week.
mushrooms, Full of nothing bad and tasty raw or cooked.
Olives...Im new to olives. i buy the jar seeds in no sugar. they are filling and you need like 2 to carry the tide till meal time. Also few calories
Avoiding everything processed has been a huge help.
135.7 kg Lost so far: 2.2 kg.    Still to go: 45.0 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
