The truth is this: I eat when I feel ANY feelings or emotions. Happiness, sadness, excitement, anxiety, hurt/depression, anger, boredom, all of it. And I have experienced a lot of emotion the past few weeks/months/years with my teenage son.
Nathan recently moved in with his father, at my demand, and he says I abandoned him. He won't speak to me, won't return my texts, won't come home to visit me. I'm hurt, angry, depressed. Nathan's not the only reason I eat, but the more emotions that flare up, the more I eat.
Of course, I also eat when I'm super happy, with Arturo, with my parents, by myself in my happy place, so I can't completely blame my problems with Nathan.
86.5 kg Lost so far: 14.9 kg.    Still to go: 2.5 kg.    Diet followed: Poorly.
