just throwing it out there perhaps if you're doing good working out practices you're gaining good quality muscle and weight

Lifting helps to build muscle which has less mass than fat so you’d lose inches not pounds. For me if I’m lifting my weight goes up as well. It goes down when I stop. I had to decide that the muscle will help me long term (boosts metabolism) and I want to be strong and toned not skinny.

Have you tried switching up your workout a bit? Maybe try adding quick 5 minute walks throughout your day or a morning and evening walk to get more steps in. What is your workout plan like now? Have you been eating anything that you don’t normally eat? As someone who deals with food inflammation, I’m constantly asking my self this! What are your stress levels like at the moment? Sometimes stress & lack of sleep can cause your body to hold onto more weight. Sorry for the wall of text! There’s so many things that can mess with weight loss. ☺️❤️

Just hang in there!!! Alot of times it's water weight from hormones. If you keep doing what you're doing it will drop eventually! Trust me, I've had alot of experience with this. The hardest thing is keeping your faith in the process and having patience. I would try a few different things, but don't go to extremes. You don't need to. Stick with something you can keep up with so you don't get discouraged to the point of giving up. It takes time, but you will get there if you don't give up!

Ditto what Bearnoggin said. Just keep it up and the weight will come off. There have been times when I'll go a week without losing and then all of a sudden I'll drop 3 or 4 pounds.

Are you feeling sore? You can gain around 5 lbs of water from muscle soreness.

Muscle weighs more than fat. Don't go by the scale says. Look at your body.

Some months, I can gain like 5 lbs before my periods even if I stay on track with my diet. Whatever the reason is for your gain, I'm sure it will come back to normal in a few days, don't give up! :)

Thanks everyone. I think it was water retention mostly but of course I fell off the wagon. I’m going to try to keep myself in check today and start real fresh tomorrow. I lowered my calories and I’ll keep working out. I was doing around 1500 and maybe that’s too high? Idk
